Shivapuri Peak Hike is a short trek from Kathmandu. Shivapuri stands at 2563m, and is the highest hill near the Kathmandu Valley. The Shivapuri hill trek is located in the Shivapuri National Park.
It is 13km from Kathmandu to the Shivapuri National Park. The Shivapuri hill trek starts from Nagarjun Gate and ends at Sundarijal.
Shivapuri peak hike is one of the best 1 day short treks near Kathmandu. The trek will start at 8am and end at 4pm. We will drive back to Kathmandu from Sundarijal after the dense jungle trek.
You will see spectacular views of the Ganesh Himal Range, Langtang Range and Jugal Himal range.

N/A08.00am: Pick up from your hotel in Kathmandu by private car and drive to Nagarjun Gate. NOTE: It is about 8km and a 30-minute drive from Kathmandu to Nagarjun Gate.
09.00am: Arrive in Nagarjun Gate and start trek to Shivapuri Hill Peak via Shivapuri village.
01.00pm: Arrive at Shivapuri Peak (2732m). You will enjoy your lunch here amidst amazing mountain views.
02.00pm: Continue the Shivapuri Peak hike to Sundarijal. NOTE: Sundarijal is a beautiful village with fresh water and surrounded by dense forest.
04.00pm: Drive to Kathmandu from Sundarijal. The journey from Sundarijal to Kathmandu will take about an hour.
05.00pm: Drop off at your hotel, trek ends. Congratulations!
