Ghorepani Ghandruk Trek named at Poon hill 4 day trek itinerary with Ghandruk is the same trek as Poon Hill Trek 3 days.

We are following same trekking route, only difference is on day 3, we will spend a night in Ghandruk Village and will drive from Ghandruk to Pokhara the next day.

Day 1: Drive from Pokhara to Ulleri(2070m) and trek to Ghorepani (2860m)

Day 2: Ghorepani (2860m) - Tadapani (2630m)

Day 3: Trek from Tadapani to Gandruk (2470m)

Day 4: Gandruk (2470m) to Pokhara

Day 1: Drive from Pokhara to Ulleri(2070m) and trek to Ghorepani (2860m)

Highlights: Drive from Pokhara to Ulleri + 4 hours walk to reach Ghorepani (2860m) – Poon Hill.

07.00am: Pick up and we will drive to Ulleri (2070m) directly. It is a 3 hours’ off road drive.

En route, we will stop at Nayapol(1070m) TIMS & Annapurna Conservation Project Permit checkpoint. After this check point, you will enter to Annapurna Conservation Areas’ Project area. Your Ghorepani Ghandruk Trek 4 days (Poon Hill Trek 4 days) starts from this check point.

11.00am Arrived at Ulleri. We will start to trek from Ulleri to Banthanti(2300m) for 30 minutes.

12.00am We will have lunch at Banthanti. After lunch, continue the trek to Nangethanti(2430m). IT is 2.5 hours uphill treks. Bhurungdi river is on the right side before crossing the bridge. Amazing view of jungle and river.

02.30pm: Arrive in Nangethanti. We will have tea break here.

03.00pm: We will continue the trek to Ghorepani(2860m). IT is 1.5 hours uphill treks.

04.30pm Arrive in Ghorepani. Check in to hotel. Rest & relax after check in to your hotel.

OPTIONAL: Trek to Poonhill for sunset. NOTE: 1 hour’s trek to Poonhill.

NOTE: Sunset of Poonhill is dependable on the weather, if you can’t get a good sunset view, we will bring you to Poonhill again the next morning for the sunrise. For those who want to view the sunset and sunrise, you can trek to Poonhill on your own.

Day 2: Ghorepani (2860m) - Tadapani (2630m)

04.30am: Wake up and begin trek to Poon Hill (3193m) from hotel after a cup of tea/coffee. NOTE: This is a 1-hour uphill trek.

06.30am: After viewing the beautiful sunrise at Poon Hill, we will trek down to your hotel for breakfast.

07.30am: Breakfast at hotel. Check out hotel after breakfast

08.00am: Begin the trek to Tadapani (2630m). NOTE: This is a 1.5 hours trek.

09.30am: We will arrive in Deurali (3090m). Continue the trek to Banthanti (3180m). NOTE: Ghorepani to Durali is 2-hours trek, and Deurali to Banthanti is an another 2-hour trek. You will get to see amazing views of the Annapurna range of mountains on your left side, and green hills on your right. Please do however focus on your footing as the terrain is slightly treacherous, and the trail is small and narrow.

12.00am: Lunch at Banthanti (3180m).

01.00pm: Trek to Tadapani continues. NOTE: This is a 2-hour trek. 1 hour of it will be downhill, and another 1 hour uphill.

03.00pm: Arrive in Tadapani. Check in hotel. Rest & Relax. Dinner at the hotel. NOTE: At Tadapani, you will see amazing snow peaks / mountains of Annapurna South. Make sure you wake up at 5.30am to watch the sunrise from your hotel!

Day 3: Trek from Tadapani to Gandruk (2470m)

08.00am Breakfast at hotel and check out.

09.00am Start the trek to Gandruk(1940m). NOTE: The trek will take in total 4 hours.

11.00am Arrive in Bhaisi Kharka(2470m) and have tea break.

11.30am Continue the trek to Gandruk. NOTE: 2 hours’ trek.

01.30pm Arrive in Gandruk. Lunch at Gandruk. Check in hotel. Rest & relax.

03.00pm After lunch, we will do a Gandruk Village Tour. We will bring you to see the museum, library, schools etc. It is one of the most famous village in Annapurna regions. Gandruk offers good views of Annapurna south and some snow capped peaks.

06.00pm Dinner at hotel. Rest & relax.

Day 4: Gandruk (2470m) to Pokhara

08.00am: Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, check out. We will walk down hill for 30 minutes to catch a Jeep back to Pokhara.

09.00am Drive to Pokhara.

11.00am Arrive in Pokhara. Drop at your hotel. Tour ends.

  • Tipping to local guide, tour guide and driver.
  • Meals that not mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Tea/Coffee/Hot Water outside of breakfast, lunch and dinner during the trek at the rest point.
  • Extra night hotel accommodation if return early from trek or late departure.
  • All the meal and accommodation in Pokhara and Kathmandu if you finished early your trek than our program.

Important Notes

Special NOTES and extra charges during Ghorepani Ghandruk Trek |Poon hill 4 day trek itinerary with Ghandruk:

  1. Drinks such as bottled mineral water, Coke, and Beer is chargeable if ordered on top of the meals provided in the mountains.
  2. We will provide drinking water with water purifier tablet.
  3. Hot water is Not FOC in the mountains. If you choose to have hot water, it will be at your own expense and you will have to pay the provider directly.
  4. WiFi is not FOC. It will be at own expense and you will have to pay the provider directly. Kindly expect to pay a minimum of USD2 per stay for WiFi.
  5. Charging of mobile phones and other electronic devices are only allowed with permission, and is not FOC.
  6. Kindly expect to pay a minimum of USD2 per device per stay.

  1. Time schedules in the itinerary are for reference. Changes of time and schedule will be advised by your tour guide depending on the situation, weather conditions, and road conditions during the tour.
  2. Customers have to write in email for confirmation.
    Payment phases:
    50% upon Confirmation,
    50% upon Pick up from your hotel.
  3. Please note that the itineraries are subject to change. The schedule will always depend on the time available and weather conditions. Some of them can be cancelled without prior notice. There will be no refund upon cancellation if the guest does not keep to the agreed upon time, or if there are bad weather conditions.
  4. Any request for changes will be charged accordingly.

  3. Following this, you should make a 50% deposit to us via PayPal or to our bank account.
  4. 50% deposit will be paid by your side via either PayPal or bank in to our Nepal Company account. The remaining amount can be deposited after arriving in Nepal.
  5. We will issue the official payment receipt to you once we receive the payment.
