Patan Bungamati Khokana day tour starts from the morning drive to Patan. It will take about 20 minutes from Kathmandu. You will spend almost two hours touring in Patan beginning with a visit to Kumari. Then you will visit Patan Durbar Square and Hindu temples such as Krishna, Khumbheshor and Bagalamukhi. Locals hold a belief that worshipping at Bagalamukhi temple is a sure way to find a reliable beloved partner. Afterwards we explore Buddhist monasteries in the likes of Golden temple, Mahabuddha, Rudra Varna Mahabhihar.
At noon, we drive to Khokana, the medieval Newari village. It will not be long before we reach Bungamati as we follow traditional trail. In Bungamati we visit Rato Macchendranath temple, Bhairave temple and a local museum. Bungamati village is itself a living museum where local Newars still following traditional craft and art. By late afternoon we will drive back to Kathmandu.
