00.00am: Pick up from your hotel in Kathmandu. Our Nagarkot Trek begins here by driving to Jarsingpauwa.
01.00pm Arrive in Jarsingpauwa. Begin the Nagarkot Trek
Description: Jarsing Pauwa to Nagarkot is an easy trekking route. There is only a little bit of an uphill trek at the final leg. This trek will offer panoramic views of the Everest ranges of mountains on your left. This is very peaceful trekking area. You will meet many school children and villagers during your trek.
NOTE: You only have to carry your own belongings such as cash, camera, water bottle, sunglasses, chocolates, and etc. This is a 4-hour short trek near Kathmandu. Your larger baggage will be transferred to your hotel in Nagarkot by your driver. You will trek with your trekking guide.
04.30pm: Arrive in Nagarkot hotel. Check in. You can have tea/coffee until sunset.
05.00pm: Sunset will be between 5pm and 7pm, depending on the season.
07.00pm: Dinner at hotel. After dinner, it is free and easy.
Highlights: An easy trek amidst the beautiful countryside.
05.00am: Wake up and prepare for the Everest sunrise.
NOTE: You’ll get to view a panoramic sunrise of snow-capped mountains from the hotel rooftop. You will see spectacular views of the Everest and Langtang range of mountains.
07.30am: Check out and pick up from your hotel. Our next stop is the Nagarkot View Tower.
Description: Nagarkot has the widest views of the Himalayas in the Kathmandu valley (8x Himalayan ranges out of the 13 ranges of Nepal can be seen from here). The ranges include the Annapurna range, Manaslu range, Ganesh Himal range, Langtang range, Jugal range, Rolwaling range, Mahalangur range (Everest range), and Numbur range with views of the Kathmandu valley and Shivapuri National Park.
*** Today, we will visit Dhulikhel, Namobuddha Monastery, Panauti, and then back to Dhulikhel.
10.00am: We will begin a short trek from Nagarkot to Sanga, which will take about 2 hours.
12.00pm: Arrive at Sanga. We will pick you up and drive you to Namobuddha via Dhulikhel.
01.00pm: Arrive at Namobuddha. You will visit the Namobuddha Monastery, Namobuddha View Point and Namobuddha Temple.
NOTE: Lunch en route at local restaurant is at own expense.
03.00pm: We will drive to Panauti – a small UNESCO town, which also called the town with 40 temples dedicated to difference deities. 28 festivals are held here throughout the year. The town is filled with temples and religious buildings. We will visit:
05.00pm: Drive to Dhulikhel from Panauti. This drive will take approximately 1 hour.
06.00pm: Check in your hotel in Dhulikhel. Welcome drink.
NOTE: Dinner at your own expense.
07.00am: Breakfast at hotel. Free & easy until pick up to next destination or Kathmandu. Tour ends.
