Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is 5 day trek in Nepal, and is the most famous short trek from Pokhara. One of the best short treks in Nepal.
The highest point of Poon Hill is 3210m, from where you will able to see the most beautiful sunrise views over Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. The trek passes through typical Nepali villages and rhododendron forests.
This Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek 5 days is suitable for all levels of trekkers. We highly recommend this trek.
If you have at least 7 days in Nepal, you can go further up from Poon Hill, and consider doing the Annapurna Base Camp Trek 7 days 6 nights trek.
If you have only 3 days in Nepal, you can consider taking the Poon Hill Trek 3 days. This is the shortened version of the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek 5 days 4 nights trek.

Hotel/Lodge in BanthantiHighlights: Heading towards Ghorepani Poon Hill with amazing views of snow-peaked mountains
08.00am: Pick up from hotel in Pokhara, transfer to Nayapol. NOTE: 1.5 hours drive from Pokhara.
09.30am: Arrive at Nayapol (1070m). NOTE: You will need to show your TIMS & Annapurna Conservation Project Permit at Birethanti (1025m).
10.30am: Arrive at Ramghai. Continue the trek to Sudame (1340m)
11.15am: Tea break at Sudame.
11.45am: Continue the trek to Hille (1460m). NOTE: It will take about an hour from Sudame to Hille.
12.45pm: Lunch at Hille.
01.45pm: After lunch, continue the trek to Tikhedhunga (1540m). NOTE: It’s a 30-minute walk, followed by more than 2000 uphill stone steps.
03.00pm: Arrive in Ulleri (2070m), then continue the trek to Banthanti (2300m). NOTE: It’s a 30-minute treks from Ulleri to Banthanti.
04.00pm: Arrive in Banthanti. Overnight in Banthanti. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. After dinner, rest and relax.

07.00am: Breakfast at the hotel.
08.00am: Check out. Start the trek to Nangethanti (2430m). NOTE: 2.5 hours uphill trek. Bhurungdi river is on the right side before crossing the bridge. Amazing views of jungle and river.
10.30am: Arrive in Nangethanti, tea break time.
11.00am: Continue the trek to Ghorepani (2860m). NOTE: 1.5 hours uphill trek.
12.30pm: Arrive in Ghorepani. Check into hotel. Lunch in Ghorepani. Rest & relax after checking in to your hotel.
04.00pm: Trek to Poonhill (3193m) for sunset. NOTE: It is a 1 hour trek to Poonhill.
06.30pm: Return to hotel. Dinner in the hotel.

07.30am: Breakfast at hotel.
08.00am: Begin the trek to Tadapani (2630m). NOTE: This is a 1.5 hours trek.
09.30am: We will arrive in Deurali (3090m). Continue the trek to Banthanti (3180m). NOTE:Ghorepani to Durali is 2-hours trek, and Deurali to Banthanti is an another 2-hour trek. You will get to see amazing views of the Annapurna range of mountains on your left side, and green hills on your right. Please do however focus on your footing as the terrain is slightly treacherous, and the trail is small and narrow.
12.00am: Lunch at Banthanti (3180m).
01.00pm: Trek to Tadapani continues. NOTE: This is a 2-hour trek. 1 hour of it will be downhill, and another 1 hour uphill.
03.00pm: Arrive in Tadapani. Check in hotel. Rest & Relax. Dinner at the hotel. NOTE: At Tadapani, you will see amazing snow peaks / mountains of Annapurna South. Make sure you wake up at 5.30am to watch the sunrise from your hotel!

08.00am: Breakfast at hotel. Check out hotel after breakfast.
09.00am: Start the trek to Gandruk (1940m). NOTE: The trek will take about 4 hours.
11.00am: Arrive in Bhaisi Kharka (2470m). Tea break.
11.30am: Continue the trek to Gandruk. NOTE: This is a 2 hours trek.
01.30pm: Arrive in Gandruk. Check in hotel. Lunch in hotel.
02.30pm: After lunch, we will do a Gandruk Village tour. We will bring you to see the museum, library, schools, and etc. This is one of the most famous village in the Annapurna region.

09.00am: Start the downhill trek to Chane. Continue the trek to Kimche for 30 minutes, and then continue for another 30 minutes trek to Kilyu. We will continue the trek to Syauli Bazar (1220m).
11.30am: Lunch at Syauli Bazar.
12.30pm: Continue the trek to Nayapol. NOTE: This is a 2 hours trek. You will pass by Birethanti. You will need to show your TIMS & Annapurna Conservation Project Permit again to show the authorities that you have ended your trek in the Annapurna region.
03.00pm: Arrive at Nayapol. We will pick you up via local bus/car/Jeep to send you back to your hotel in Pokhara. Tour ends.
