Muktinath Pilgrimage Tour 2 days 1 night is a must do pilgrimage tour in Nepal, depart from Pokhara by flight to Jomsom, then drive to Muktinath Temple, and back.

This is an easy pilgrimage tour in Nepal, most of the time you will not be on trek, but in a private jeep, where we will drive you all the way to Muktinath Temple and back.

You will fly back to Pokhara from Jomsom the next day morning.

Muktinath Temple is the highlight for this tour, we believed by taking a holy dip in the ponds and showering under the 108 water tabs at Muktinath Temple, once can clean all the negative karma, and can and bring salvation (Moksha) and to fulfill the wishes.

Muktinath  Temple – the holy temple for Hindu and Buddhist and scenic views of himalayas

05.00 am: Pick up from your hotel in Pokhara. Transfer to Pokhara Airport.

06.00 am: Catch your flight to Jomsom. NOTE: It is 18 minutes thrilling scenic flight

06.30 am: Arrive in Jomsom. Check in hotel. NOTE: Breakfast on your own expenses.

08.15 am: Drive to Muktinath by private Jeep. The ride will take around 2.5 hours on rocky hilly road.

10.15 am: Arrive in Muktinath bus park. NOTE: We walk from here to Muktinath Temple. It is 25 minutes’ walk. If you can’t/don’t want/unable to walk, you can hire a pony at own expenses. It will cost USD 3 for one pony ride / way. You have to pay directly.

10.45 am: Arrive in Muktinath Temple. You will have 1 to 2 hour time to pray and get holy shower.

01.00 pm: Start downhill trek to Muktinath bus station. If you can’t/don’t want/unable to walk, you can use pony again. We will have our lunch at Muktinath Temple area, or on the way to bus station. It will be simple food. You don’t have much options.

03.30pm: Arrive in Muktinath Bus station.

04.00pm: Start driving to Jomsom.

06.30pm: Arrive back in Jomsom. NOTES: Dinner at the hotel. Tour ends.

14th February 2017, we were showering under the 108 fountains at Muktinath Temple (3710 meter) during the cold winter with temperature of minus degree.

We believed it washed off negative karma, and bring salvation (Moksha) and to fulfill the wishes.

Muktinath Temple is one of the holiest temple for Hindu and Buddhist.

What is included?

  • One night x accommodation at Jomsom on day 1.
  • Meal(1 x breakfast, 1x Lunch and 1x Dinner)
  • Two ways domestic flight tickets, Pokhara to Jomsom/Jomsom to Pokhara.
  • All land transportation:
  1. Transfer from Pokhara hotel to Pokhara airport on day 1.
  2. Pick up from Jomsom airport to your hotel, then drive to Muktinath by 4 x 4 Jeep.
  3. Transfer from Pokhara airport to your hotel in Pokhara on day 2.
  • One x trekking guide.
  • TIMS & National Park entrance fees (trekking permit and entrance fees to National Park)

What is not included?

  • Pony at Muktinath
  • Puja at Muktinath. It is free, but if you want to buy then must pay.
  • Tips for driver and guide
  • Breakfast at Muktinath on day 1
  • Extra cost if flight is cancelled or delayed and if you want to take any land transportation back to Pokhara will be at own expenses.

  1. Time schedules in the itinerary are for reference, changes of time and schedules will be advised by your tour guide depending on the situation on the road during the tours.

    Payment phases:
    50% upon Confirmation,
    50% upon Pick up in your hotel.
  3. Please note the itineraries are subjects to change. It always depends on the time available and weather conditions. Some of them can be cancelled without prior notice. No refund upon cancellation if it happened due to guests’ fault on dragging the time of visiting certain places or due to bad weather condition.
  4. Any change request will be charged accordingly.

    outstanding will be paid upon pick up.
  4. We will issue the official receipt to you once we received the payment.
